007 STYLE JET PACK TO TAKE OFF AT BOAT SHOW
Looks like the true age of James Bond has finally arrived in the UK with the arrival the Jetlev-Flyer an aqua jet pack that will debut at next yearís London Boat Show. The device can hover up to 30ft in the air and works by forcing water through a downward pointing nozzle.
The jet pack, which can reach speeds of up to 35kph is attached to a 4-stroke engine pump that trails behind and supplies power for up to three hours. Future models are expected to be able to reach speeds of 80kph and more.
The Jetlev-Flyer has been developed over the past nine years by Canadian engineer Raymond Li and is expected to retail at around £110,000 so donít be expecting them to be the next big watersports craze.
