JACK SPARROW STOPPED ON AUTOBAHN

Motorway police in Brunnthal Germany thought they were seeing things when a pirate ship sailed past them on a busy main road. Quick off the mark, they cruised in and pulled the offending Buccaneers over only to find that the four wheeled replica Black Pearl had a full bill of health and wasn’t under the command of Jack Sparrow.

The four men in the customised vehicle may well have been dressed like The Pirates of the Caribbean but were far from the Spanish Main and driving across Europe in a legitimate jalopy kitted out with a hull poop deck and mast.

A police spokesman said, 'They had a road safety certificate for all of the modifications including the mast and the galley and so we wished them a safe voyage and allowed them to continue on their way.'
