IRISH BULL GOES SHOPPING

Irish supermarkets are currently entertaining a new breed of customer. Or at least they are according to CCTV footage from Cummin’s SuperValu in Ballinrobe, County Mayo. Staff were amazed when a bull was caught browsing the aisles. The young animal mooched through the tinned goods section before sampling a few bits and pieces at the fruit and veg stand. The bull then decided he would prefer not to purchase any thing and charged out of the automatic doors.
'The bull ran down one aisle, and into the store area, where he had a good look around and came back out again. He then charged down another aisle, and out the front door again,' said store owner John Cummins. 'Amazingly, no one came directly in his path or it could have been very bad news. It was a happy ending to a story that could have gone very wrong.'
The bull was later recaptured by the local farmer who owns him and returned home. Next week he plans to visit the local garden centre to pick out some bedding plans to brighten up his field.
