IDLE ROCKS COMPETITION
Saturday November 15th, 2008
After a fantastic response so far, the clock is still ticking on this month’s fabulous competition, which will reward our lucky winner with a weekend break at the wonderful Idle Rocks Hotel in St.Mawes on the Cornish Coast. British movie buffs may already be familiar with the area, though they might not realise it. The village was used as a location for the Agatha Christie thriller ‘Murder Ahoy!’ in 1964 that starred everybody’s favourite Miss Marple, Margaret Rutherford investigating dark deeds aboard a merchant training vessel used to rehabilitate young offenders.
Of course the only investigating our winner will need to be involved in will be around the quaint cobbled streets and beeches, or in the dining room of the Idle Rocks, where they’ll uncover some of the finest food in the country. And just to make sure you do savour the world famous culinary delights the hotel have thrown a free evening meal on the night of your choice. So get that grey matter working (or try Google) and go all Miss Marple (or Sherlock Holmes if you’re a guy) on us. It’s FREE to enter and everyone is in with a chance
