HOW TO KEEP SALT AND SPICES DRY

Thursday December 5th, 2013
Stop salts and spices from clumping
'Ever gone into the cupboard and the spices have turned to concrete?

It's the moisture in the air that makes them do this. To stop this from happening just simply put some dried beans or rice into the container that they are in. These will soak up the moisture rather than the spices.

Also, when adding them to a recipe over a hot pan use a spoon instead of sprinkling them in as the steam also causes them to clump.

So from now on your spices will be clump free.
