Here’s a product that ties in nicely with our On Board Recipe section. The Boaties Frying Pan is specially designed to fit the stove on board a boat. At 250x200x45mm it is actually bigger that a standard frying pan and thus optimizes the area available for cooking that all important full English breakfast.

Made from 4mm aluminium it has a compact, heatproof Bakelite handle, which is raised to clear the fiddle rail. Much thought has gone into the design, which includes a sloping front end to allow food to be slid off easily, two layers of high grade non stick coating and the icing on the cake, it stands on its end for easy storage. And at only £14.95 it is actually cheaper than many top end pans for everyday domestic use. In fact I’m so impressed I’m going to get one to use at home.
