FISHING BOAT SKIPPER NO LOOKOUT FINE

A Fishing boat skipper has been fined for failing to keep a lookout.

The Whitley Bay skipper was fined £3,500 by Newcastle magistrates for failing to keep a proper lookout.

The 9-metre fishing boat, Amadeus struck another vessel at anchor whiles the skipper, Mr Senior, was working at the stern.
