FIRST HURDLE CROSSED BY MEDITERRANEAN CREW MEMBERS

Following a technical hitch in Southern Ireland, the Harbourguides crew have managed to get the boat’s alternator repaired and have finally set sail (around 1900hrs last night - Tuesday 17th). They plan to arrive in Portugal within the week and meet up with the company mascot Chloe Jade Fisher who will be joining them on board.

Last report from ‘Knight Song’ by skipper Steve Mallinson said, “It was a bit tense. The alternator had packed in and we knew we were stuck until it was fixed. We were worried about delays. Chloe would be waiting. But we managed to sort it out and we’re fully functional again... In hindsight it’s a blessing it happened in Ireland. Another day or two or more into the trip and it would have been a disaster.”
