ECHOPILOT EASYLOGBOOK
Wednesday April 29th, 2009

This matchbox-sized GPS receiver is ideal for professional crews and charters who need to keep detailed records of their voyages. The easyLOGBOOK records GPS positions every second onto a micro SD card. This data can then be transferred onto free easyLOGBOOK software on a PC where it synchronizes latitude and longitude with the log entries you make.
When you reach port the system will supply you with a nautical summary, including distance travelled, engine hours etc. along with a course plot on a Google Earth map. You can even synchronise any digital pictures you have taken into the log.
At the end of the voyage, it will then give you a nautical summary, including distance travelled, engine hours, etc but also show your voyage on a Google Earth map. And if you took any digital pictures these will be synchronised with the time, date and lat and long. And at £136 it’s an absolute bargain.
