eBay repossessed bargains
It is not uncommon for marinas and harbour authorities to repossess yachts in lieu of dues and fees then sell them off at bargain prices.
Such a vessel is the Invicta 26ft yacht Christina repossessed by Salcombe Harbour Authority and listed on ebay with a starting price of 99p.
True bargains happen when no one shows any interest, but don’t be fooled by the starting price, since the final price can rise steeply within the last 30 seconds before closing bids due to automatic bids submitted by computer bots.
