DRINKABLE BOOK TO SAVE LIVES

American scientists have invented a “Drinkable Book” that could save millions of lives by turning polluted water into drinkable harmless water.

The book is in fact an instruction manual that the pages once torn out become filters.

It is estimated that around 4 million people a year die from contaminated water, and about 500,000 of those are children.

Each piece of paper from the book can be used several times, and one book could filter water for one person for up to 4 years.

It has been tried in Africa and Bangladesh, and seems to be a success.
