WORLD’S LARGEST YACHT GREEN LIT
Following a high level meeting in Amsterdam last month a proposal to construct a 141 staysail schooner has been given the go-ahead. The ‘Dream Symphony’ will be the world’s largest sailing yacht and has a planned launch date of 2016.
After successful wind tunnel tests the unique vessel has, at last, bee given a full green light to go into production with the Dream Ship facilities in Turkey already geared up to begin work laying up the hull this summer. The yacht is been developed under the guidance of Valeriy Stepanenko from a design created by Ken Freivokh's Design team using unique wood - building technology proposed by the Dykstra & Partners Naval Architects and will be built from totally renewable resources.
