DARK KNIGHT ARRESTED
‘Batman’ has been arrested after hanging off a 30ft high ledge in Petoskey, Michigan. According to police reports the wannabe superhero had ‘dangerous weapons in his utility belt’ when he was apprehended.
Mark Williams was dressed in a full Batman suit with lead lined gloves and carrying a collapsible baton and a container of pepper spray.
A police spokesman told the press that officers 'observed a male subject, dressed in a Batman costume, hanging off the western wall of the building... Officers gained access to the roof and pulled the subject back onto the roof.”
Mr Williams was arrested before being photographed in costume and charged with ‘possession of dangerous weapons’ and ‘trespassing.’
The 31 year old describes himself as a ‘self-confessed geek' on his MySpace profile and lists The Dark Knight and Batman Begins amongst his favourite movies.
Hanged up, banged up and a long way from Gotham City!
