CRIMINAL SHOPS HIMSELF AT CRIME SCENE

This Japanese armed robber has to go down in history as the dumbest or nicest criminal of all time. Having burst into a store wielding a large stick and demanding cash 54-year-old Takashi Owada had a sudden change of heart and irresistible urge to be an honorable man when the 59-year-old shop assistant told him ‘Don’t be silly.’
Not only did he apologize to the woman and abandon the heist, he also took it upon himself to call the police on his mobile phone and report his crime. He then waited until they arrived to be arrested and charged with attempted robbery.
