Two rescued in Cornwall

Bude Coastguard Rescue Team, Bude RNLI Lifeboat and the UK Coastguard search and rescue helicopter based at Newquay all participated in the rescue of two people stranded on rocks by the rising tide at Black Rock, Crackington Haven, Cornwall.

A lifeboat crew member managed to get onto the rocks to support the casualties and entered the water to assist in winching them to the hovering helicopter which took them ashore. The lifeboatman then swam back to the waiting lifeboat.

Well done guys, I dont know what we would do without you.
