There are reports of a large bomb explosion near to the Erawan shrine in the Chidlom district that’s frequented by visitors in the Thai capital of Bangkok.
Early reports have suggested at least five dead and around 20 further injured casualties, however it is feered that there may be many more. Jonathan Head who works for the BBC is at the scene and has said that it’s chaotic, with body parts strewn all around and a large crater, indicating that is was indeed a bomb.
If the reports that it is a bomb are confirmed it will be a rare occurrence for this tipe of thing to happen in Bangkok.
