BRITS WIN SILVER IN OLYMPIC 470

Another Olympic medal for Great Britain's sailing team in Weymouth, with Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell grabbing silver in the men's 470. They were already guaranteed a silver in the final and missed out on their bid for a gold to Australia's Mathew Belcher and Malcolm Page.

Despite leading the race around the first mark the Brits were overtaken by the Aussies, who made ground downwind and managed to stay clear to the finish line. Argentina came in third place and claimed the bronze.
