BLONDE BOMB DROP
Talk about not thinking things through. Lithuanian company Olialia is planning to build a luxury holiday resort on a man-made island shaped like a high heeled shoe in the Maldives. The idea is to staff the resort entirely with blonde women. Oops! Maldivian law stipulates that any foreign businesses must be staffed by a minimum of 50% local population.
Did the bosses at Olialia fail to realise that there aren’t that many blonde ladies in the Indian Ocean. Surely they must have paid the atolls a few visits. But An eleventh hour solution is at hand (or head).
Olialia brand manager Lauryna Anuseviciut said 'Staff who are not blonde will wear a blonde wig to make everyone look similar.'
Looks like the big wigs are going big on wigs!
