BISHOP TWINS HIS TOILET

Monday June 22nd, 2009
ImageRight Reverend Christopher Cocksworth has put his money where his backside is in a bid to raise funds for better sanitation in Burundi, Africa. The Coventry bishop has paid £60 to have his toilet twinned with a WC in Rutana Province. The scheme run by Leamington Spa based charity Cord hands the money over to families returning to Burundi in the hope of improving hygiene there.
Bishop Colin who thinks that toilet twinning is a ‘brilliant idea’ said 'It's a way in which we can have some fun while making a difference to a lot of people's lives.'
The idea is for people to twin their home or office toilet with one in Rutana Province then find its exact location using Google Earth. Sounds great fun to me!
