ANOTHER SPEED SAILING RECORD

ANOTHER NEW WORLD SPEED RECORD FOR THÉBAULT
Yet another new world speed record has been achieved by the radical 60ft Hydrofoil trimaran, Hyrdroptere. Alain Thébault, Thierry Lombard and their team averaged a speed of 50.17 knots over a distance of 1 nautical mile in 28knnot winds off Hyeres, Province on Novenber 8th. The record is subject to ratification by the World Speed Sailing Record Council.
