ALLIGATOR ESCAPES WHILST VISITING SCHOOL
When US wildlife officer, Dave Brady decided to give his daughters classmates a treat, little did he know that he would be causing widespread panic in the area. Mr Brady had caught a five feet long alligator and decided to take it into the Florida school to show it off. He took the precaution of taping up the reptiles mouth for safety’s sake and said that the pupils ‘were impressed’ with his catch.
Unfortunately things went somewhat pear shaped after Mr Brady had loaded the ‘gator into the back of his truck. Basically it made a break for it, ran off towards a local pond and hasn’t been seen since.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Stan Kirkland said, 'Most people don't think they can jump, but they have an amazing ability to jump... They can not only jump, they can run.' He added, 'It's green, it's 5ft long and it was last seen on the lam!'
