A FINE AYRSHIRE WELCOME

Thursday November 13th, 2008
ImageAs reported recently the Harbour Guides Crew are currently spreading the good word in Scotland. Firstly we would like to thank the folk of Ayrshire for a truly warm welcome. Our representatives who are visiting Troon, Ardrossan and Largs have reported back to HGHQ that the towns are all they have been built up to be and much more. Despite the decidedly wintry conditions they have encountered universally fair weather hospitality.

And with the Christmas just weeks away the local calendar is jam packed with events to ease everyone into the Season of Goodwill and the Hogmanay celebrations. Troon, Ardrossan and Largs have exciting seasonal programmes filled with Christmas Fayres, Festive Party Nights, late night shopping, musical events and countless other great reasons to meet up in preparation for the ultimate annual get together. The mood, as they say, is suitably buoyant.

As always Harbour Guides like to know what’s going on in the places they are visiting, particularly in and around the port/marina areas of town. So feel free to let us know if you’ve got a special event planned over the next few weeks and we’ll try and give everything we can to give you a mention in our next update. Meanwhile look forward to meeting more of you
