2011 BARCELONA BOAT SHOW
The Harbourguides Crew have just returned from the Barcelona Boat Show. Crew Member Shaun Beverley was impressed with Beneteau’s new “Sense” range While Steve Mallinson thought the two Dufours there (37 and a 44)were great value for money. However when asked what their favourite boat at the show was they were both in agreement that the Hallberg Rassy 64 was the one they would both like most to own.
The boat show was also well represented by power boats, almost 60% of exhibits there were power boats.The Princess stand as always looked fantastic.
One aspect the crew were a little disappointed in was the poor amount of accessories and equipment.”There were only two halls of exhibits this year and if I’m honest this part of the show was a bit of a letdown, especially considering you have to take the show bus from the marina to the halls. “said Shaun.
All in all though both were in agreement that the show itself was well organised with plenty of boats to keep most enthusiasts entertained.
