Suit

Often mis-spelt as Suite this is a nautical term from the early 17th century meaning the outfit of a ship’s sails. Following WWII the term was revived to describe the compliment of a Navy ship’s electronic equipment as in ‘electronics suit’ and its total armament or ‘weapons suit’.
