South Ferriby Marina by Theresa Greenstaff
Terrible marina. The couple that own it are terrible, rude and often try to blackmail you to get payments, some of which you have no idea where the figure has come from. Site not secure and boats are often broken into. Couple do not like it if police are called and are not helpful when insurance companies get involved. Avoid at all costs

South Ferriby Marina by Boat man
Horrendous place . All summer hooliganism , teenagers breaking into boats and climbing all over them and stealing . Yard is very unkept weeds waist high when trying work on the boat . Electric posts trip out constantly . The owners well what can I say , the man that runs it is absolutely criminal . Charges apearing from no wear then if you complain threatens you with police or refuses to lift boat in again and stops any third party crane or lorry entering yard . Basically blackmail . Pay or lose your boat . Which he Paddy and wife Teresa do . Very crooked couple who will stop at nothing to make money . Steer well clear of this yard . The worst boatyard in Britain I have come across and I have visited many

South Ferriby Marina by Jason Barrett
An absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. I moved my boat to the yard in June 2019. Was lifted in the water in September 19 and lifted out November 19 and moved to a more suitable and yacht friendly community in February 20.
The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Services provided, which consisted mainly of the use of crane to manoeuvre my boat in and out of the water was charged at a variety of rates that never achieved any consistency and when challenged was met with confrontation and argument. During the period my boat was in the water damage occurred due to the river being dropped by the EA and the marina’s jetty’s not been kept up to a functional standard.

When raising concerns the response was often to offer a counter argument, attempt to apportion blame to others and threaten to charge additional fees for services already provided.

In terms of services, the yard can provide cranage in and out of the River Ancholme. However, short of this there is very little else Ithe ‘marina offers in terms of boat maintainence
I would not recommend anyone moor or store their vessel at this location.
