An absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. I moved my boat to the yard in June 2019. Was lifted in the water in September 19 and lifted out November 19 and moved to a more suitable and yacht friendly community in February 20.
The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Services provided, which consisted mainly of the use of crane to manoeuvre my boat in and out of the water was charged at a variety of rates that never achieved any consistency and when challenged was met with confrontation and argument. During the period my boat was in the water damage occurred due to the river being dropped by the EA and the marina’s jetty’s not been kept up to a functional standard.
When raising concerns the response was often to offer a counter argument, attempt to apportion blame to others and threaten to charge additional fees for services already provided.
In terms of services, the yard can provide cranage in and out of the River Ancholme. However, short of this there is very little else Ithe ‘marina offers in terms of boat maintainence
I would not recommend anyone moor or store their vessel at this location.
