The Boat-House chandlery offers a wide range of fittings, equipment and clothing for both inland and offshore vessels and crew.
The coffee shop makes a pleasure of winter and spring fitting out - and in the summer the cream teas are something else!
The Riversway Docklands development includes restaurants, cinemas and excellent shopping areas and, of course, all the cultural and leisure facilities of a large town are within easy reach.
The mainline railway station provides journey times to London and Glasgow of 2 3/4 hours and greatly helps in aquiring those urgent items of chandlery.
Preston Marina offers an excellent winter base for yachtsmen who sail the west coasts of Scotlan and Wales in the summer, preferring to keep their boat nearer to home in the winter, or as a year round base for those wantng to get maximum pleasure with a minimum of travelling - and at very modest charges!
