We are a quality cask ale house, having served a wide range of guest and regular ales under the management of Ian and June Rigg since 1989. Previously they gained a vast amount of experience running various licensed premises over the past few decades including the Wellcome inn in Blackpool, the Wellington in Hale village, the Park in Wigan, the Farmers Arms in Parbold and the King Alfred in Warney Island. Ian's father ran the infamous Tommy Ducks in Manchester amongst others.

Hall Village in Lancashire improves its restaurant offering with the launch of three new eateries; The Restaurant, Papa John's and The Cafe-Bar. The Ego concept isn't new and it isn't unique.
In fact we borrowed it from the millions of people who live throughout the Mediterranean and who believe it's important to make time to enjoy a good meal with family and friends. That's one of the most valued traditions of the Mediterranean culture, something that's enabled generations of people to find a good work-life balance and to lead a healthy lifestyle.

It's something many of us do when we're on holiday, but when we come home it's all too easy to slip back into old habits, to go back to grabbing a bite just to refuel.
