Welcome To Moons Bridge Marina
The Jackson family have been at Moons Bridge for over 20 years, developing the marina and its facilities from a farmer's field. The friendly family business, which includes daughter Bev and son in law Phil, a qualified mechanic, offers a full range of professional boatyard services.
Moons Bridge Marina offers secure country moorings for over 100 boats within just a few minutes drive of the M6.
Enjoy 42 miles of lock free cruising through pleasant pasturelands, overlooked only by the foothills of the Pennines!
Garstang Marina is a family owned and operated business which was initially opened with a single basin in 1995. Development expanded to Basin Two in 2000 and Basin Three in 2003 with slight modifications and extensions in 2009. The Marina now accommodates over 270 moorings facilitating boats up to 70ft. The basins are uniquely set lower than ground level thus creating a valley effect which provides a sheltered environment for the boats. The tranquil setting is well landscaped and maintained to a high standard.
The Marina is within easy walking distance of Garstang, the World's First Fair Trade Market Town. Fairtrade Town initiatives based on the 'Garstang Model' are following in Garstang's footsteps and are now running all over the world.
Welcome to our scenic and relaxing marina, situated on a tranquil stretch of the Lancaster Canal in Lancashire. The peaceful setting is well landscaped and maintained to the highest of standards.
All moorings enjoy countryside views and regular sightings of the resident bird life including ducks, swans and herons. The evening sunsets are pretty special too.
Built along the natural lay of the land, the Lancaster canal boasts 41 miles of lock-free cruising – the longest in the country. On your travels, you’ll discover beautiful scenery and plenty of waterside pubs and restaurants.
A pretty marina with lock-free cruising.
Galgate Waterside and Marina is situated on the Lancaster Canal, notable for being close to the coast and lock-free. In a picturesque setting at the edge of the village, it’s in a great location for exploring the north west, or for simply relaxing with a glass of wine on your boat. Galgate is a well-serviced marina, and the absence of locks on the canal makes it ideal if you enjoy weekend and holiday cruising. It is convenient for Lancaster, Preston and Blackpool, as well as the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.
We’re a family-owned and family-run site, and have been trading here in our beautiful corner of Lancashire by the Lancaster Canal since 1974. Nestled happily between the Market town of Garstang and the village of Nateby.
We put a great deal of effort in to the upkeep of our site here at Bridge House Marina. We’re incredibly proud of our grounds and we keep them just as picturesque as our beautiful countryside surroundings.
