Private Pontoon Moorings
We offer private pontoon visitors' moorings in the harbour by the boatyard or up the River Yar. The moorings at the yard offer a direct link to land removing the need for expensive harbour taxis. Yarmouth town centre is just a short walk over the bridge and offers excellent pubs, sailing clubs and fine restaurants as well as a good deli, post office and supermarket. The town has a Michelin Star restaurant at the George Hotel next to Yarmouth Castle.

Based on the Isle of Wight and established in Yarmouth we have specialised in working on wooden boats with over 40 years of experience within our skilled team covering a wide variety of work from rigging to seasonal scrubs and we undertake stainless steel and upholstery works too.
Whittle Marine manufacture new masts and spars to suit all rigs and we have the capacity to make anything from a light weight dinghy mast to the larger classic gaffer rigs including spinnaker poles and bowsprits. This is all alongside the production of our new, carvel XOD Class Boats currently being built.
