Restaurants
Welcome to The Toll Bar. Our aim has always been to use the best of the season's produce to steer our carefully selected menu and wherever possible get people to try food that they would not normally choose. We like to use products that are abundant and sustainable and as much as possible, the food at The Toll Bar is homemade, including our specially marinated olives and our gorgeous homemade bread.
We are both well travelled people and like to reflect this in the constantly changing menu at The Toll Bar. This is also the case with our wine list which we have personally selected.
The Toll Bar has a great team of people working within, people with similar beliefs and attitudes to life, food and drink and all this adds to the fun of eating with us.
The Toll Bar offers a relaxed, informal place to eat with excellent food and wine.
We look forward to you dining with us soon,
John and Kathryn

A warm Cornish welcome awaits you at the Safe Harbour.
This 19th Century old coaching inn, formerly the Commercial Hotel is one of the few inns with a traditional lounge bar and public bar. Awarded Cask Marque status for our St Austell Brewery ales and gaining a reputation for quality food and service throughout the Hotel, Restaurant and Bars.
Set above the historic and beautiful town of Fowey, with enviable views overlooking the Church and River, we are fortunate to have 8 bedrooms and our own onsite car park which is unique in Fowey.
Since being invited by St Austell Brewery to come back into the fold and take over the Safe Harbour, following the success of Revival, Charlestown Harbour, we have endeavoured to improve facilities whilst respecting the character and history of the building and its traditions.
We aim for "Quality Cornwall" through our produce, service and style.
Sourcing whatever we can locally we hope to create a menu that demonstrates quality Cornish pub food.
Our Menu provides a range of meals to cover you from that quick snack to a wonderful three course evening meal.
We are proud to use local suppliers such as Fowey Fish, Richard Kittow & Sons and Roddas
We look forward to welcoming customers old and new.

Restaurants
Food is simple and classic, using only the very best Cornish produce, with an emphasis on fish and seafood. Lobsters from our own tank and oysters and mussels fresh daily from the Fowey River oyster farm just below in the estuary.
Hansons is a wonderful combination of the original oak panelled dining room once used by the family it is named after, blended cleverly with the addition of a light modern space with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the croquet lawn.
Lunch is served in the Conservatory which opens directly onto the terrace, perfect for watching the world sail by on a sunny day and is the setting for the hotel's famous summer BBQ's.
