The Farmers Arms is same distance from Keswick as it is from Nichol End Marine, about 6minute walk but nice country pub with good food.

Was having some minor repairs done on my boat in Whitehaven and needed small screws but could not find anything local.
Came round to Nickel End Marine and was pleasantly surprised, found everything i needed under one roof wheras in the olden days i had been shlepping round to Windermere . I have seen the light and felt like spreading the word.

Went to Keswick Adventure Centre, which is on Derwent Water, and it was really good. If you have children I would really recommend it.

What a beautiful part of the Lakes and a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of Windermere...
