All yachts chartered from ScotSail in Scotland are coded to meet the exacting standards of the Department for Transports' code of practice for charter vessels in the U.K. ensuring that your boat is safe and easy-to-use. ScotSail strives to ensure that your yacht charter experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
For those unaccustomed to the sea, or those who want to try sailing for the 1st time, we offer a full range of RYA Sailing Courses, allowing you to experience sailing at its best with a trusted and qualified Instructor in charge - although you might be at the helm! Gain experience and an internationally recognised qualification with a 5-day Sailing Course whilst cruising Scottish waters and travelling to island ports. Sailing courses start from just £150 and include full RYA tuition and accomodation aboard a luxury training yacht.

Cruising Areas
Choose to depart from our Scottish base at the 720 berth Largs Yacht Haven with it's excellent facilities located only 30 minutes from both Glasgow and Prestwick International Airports. For those of you wishing to venture up the West Coast, we could arrange a departure from the Crinan Canal or another suitable location of your choosing. Please contact us to discuss your options.
