Cruising Areas
Portimao in Portugal, Malaga in Spain, Agadir in Morocco and Melilla on the North African Coast. These ports of call are the North, South, East and West of one of the most varied cruising grounds in this part of the world. Right in the middle, where the Atlantic mixes with the Mediterranean and diverse cultures exist side by side sits the Rock of Gibraltar. Within three days sailing of this British port there are up to thirty harbours and countless anchorages to visit. You can mix with the jet set in the Costa Del sol marinas, anchor off the beautiful beaches of the Algarve, or go back in time within the walled cities of Morocco. Add to this weather conditions that nearly always provide good sailing and you have the recipe for a memorable experience. Even in what some consider to be the “off season” conditions are better than you would find in the Solent in the middle of August.
