Long established in the area, it was bought in 2002 by Jack Creighton who then renovated an adjoining house to incorporate "Ownies", its new bistro. "Ownies Bistro" while specializing in freshly cooked seafood also offers a very extensive menu with everything from traditional meals such as Beef and Guinness Pie with Buttery Champ and Fresh Beer Battered Cod with Homemade Chips to tantalizing dishes of Slow Roast Shoulder of Lamb, Chicken Carbonara or Grilled Steaks, in fact something to suit all tastes. Upstairs, a function room holds up to 70 people and caters for parties, weddings and private dinner events. Here diners overlook the stunning view of the sea as they enjoy the sumptuous food prepared by professional chefs.
