The Fortescue has two bars, each with their own separate entrance. The right hand bar is locally known as the Ships Bar has wooden flooring and tends to attract a younger clientele with lively music and a pool table. The Lounge Bar to the left is a much mors cosier affair with carpeted floor, beams on the ceiling, white plasterwork on the walls and some wood panelling lower down.
There is a patio area next to the pub on the right that has a serving hatch which can come in extremely handy.
Great sailor friendly pub restaurant. We always call in when in Salcombe and are never dissapointed.

Called in here for an evening meal whilst compiling our guide to Salcombe with a work colleague. We are glad we did. The food was exceptional value for money, the beer also good. Nice atmosphere and landlord David and his staff made us feel very welcome.
Thanks
