Fish and chips and a pint for under £20!
When we were there I was speaking to the guy who runs it for a little while, local man who told us all sorts about the island and we followed his advice to visit the heritage sites - which were all incredible and FREE!
Needless to say we found ourselves there most evenings for a drink and to watch the music or whatever they had going on! Cracking pub, great food and nice to speak to the owner who’s a proper local!
Our favourite pub for atmosphere, food and a good drink. Just wish we called in earlier on our trip. Plenty of character and outside seating if needed as you can see from their photos. We found the prices that restaurants were charging are pretty high, so it was so good to find somewhere that was genuine value for money. We won't leave it until the end of our trip next time.
they are the best burgers we’ve had in years! We went to Alderney on our boat as a stop off to the other islands and will be coming back soon on our return leg to UK making sure we head straight to the campania! We had our boys (11 and 15) with us and they loved it, pizzas and a game of pool in a fun lively local Pub. Reminds me of how pubs were before brewery’s ruined them. Proper pub, great food oh and an amazing beer garden! 10/10
Our favourite pub on our tour of the Channel Islands. It's just off the main street, (At the top then turn left) so it's easily missed, but in our humble opinion this is the best pub restaurant on the island. Great menu and very reasonably priced, always busy with islanders and very friendly staff. A bit of a walk from the harbour, but well worth the effort, and the best thing is the walk home is all down hill. Great place!!
We left to go to a couple of other pubs however ended up back here as it’s clearly the most popular
