Located within the centre of town opposite Cowes Yacht Haven, The Anchor is the ideal place to relax within a warm, friendly and vibrant atmosphere. The Anchor offers a wide selection of delicious home cooked food served all day from a full menu as well as a choice of daily specials using locally sourced produce. Our roasts are particularly popular on a Sunday and our gourmet burgers and fish and chips are a favourite all year round. The Anchor is always full of atmosphere and features live music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening throughout the year from some the Islands top bands and most talented musicians. Described as the island’s premier music venue, The Anchor is a key destination for music fans and hosts live music up to five times a week during the summer months showcasing a wide range of musical genres including rock, pop, indie, blues, jazz, skiffle, ska and reggae to name but a few.
In the summer time, you can relax in the large courtyard Beer Garden which is a real suntrap and during the winter months cosy up amongst the warmth of our wood burning stove.
