Takis said that his brother Nikos was thinking about (or had) approached the Guinness Book of World Records to enter the piece as the most amount of dots on one piece of leather, or similar, so it will be interesting to hear if anything comes back from that. Takis now intends to create a second pointillist piece, in the same style, but showing the north side of the harbour and Harani.
By the way, this piece, which was created free-hand, without any pencil drawing or outline applied first, is for sale though I don’t think a price has been set yet, and it will be on display in his shop during the summer, so if you are coming to Symi his year you must make sure you go and take a look.
