Here at Spurreli we would like to share our passion for icecream. Spurreli icecream is made on the premises using the best of ingredients, fresh Northumbrian pedigree milk and cream from Marley Cote Walls farm, and flavoured from the wide variety of beautiful produce available to us on our doorstep. Seasonal flavourings and ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible, from Virginia’s home grown berries to Alnwick Rum, these are combined with the finest Italian flavourings, to help us create delicious icecream and gelato.
Spurreli opened within The Old Chandlery in August 2010, next to the boatyard and in between the harbour and town-square. As well as Spurreli icecream, our Baristas will serve freshly ground Illy coffee, Ruby Rose patisserie, speciality teas, chilled soft drinks and winter soup.
