We didn't stay in the hotel. but we ate in the restaurant. Westray is is a very quiet island and doesn't have a selection of restaurants to choose from, however the restaurant at the Pierowall is very good and has a really nice atmosphere and vibe. We both had seafood dishes including crab and it was delicious. We only came to Westray for one night, and this really isn't enough as there's a lot more to see than you think. We do plan to go to the Orkneys again next year and this time we will have three or four days on this island and get to know it better. We will almost certainly be staying at the Pierowall Hotel.

Pierowall Hotel Westray
The best hotel and restaurant on Westray. Nice pub with pool table and the food dished up is first class. It overlooks the seafront and has outside seating whether permitting.

Lovely location with sea view. My room was very comfortable with all modern facilities. The food served is great and I didn't need to go anywhere else to eat. The bar area has a pool table as you can see from the photos and the locals frequent the bar and restaurant. All in all a great place to stay, eat and drink.
