We are very proud of our recently refurbished rooms. All rooms are doubles with en-suite and are well furnished with astonishingly comfortable beds.
As an old and quirky building, no two rooms are the same but all are fully fitted with TV's with freeview, coffee and tea making facilities and come with our locally famous breakfast.
The first record of a Gooseberry Pie Fair taking place in Galmpton dates back to 1873, however its origins could be much older. The fair was revived in 1923 and again in 1951 for the festival of Britain, and then ran every year from 1968 to 1985. In 1995 it was re-launched as a street fair. Most stalls and events raise money for local good causes, with any surpluses from the fair itself going to local causes.
