Harray Potter
You have to take the short drive to see Harray Potter. You can watch him weave his magic in the studio and buy some really unique peaces of pottery. A great experience.

What a great place to visit. There's lots of beautiful pottery hand thrown by the owner who's name is Andrew (Not Harry). Not only is he great at pottery, but also very steeped in the goings on in Orkney and if not busy will be willing to share his knowledge with you. He also has a nice range of ceramic jewellery. Great place to get a keepsake of Orkney from.

Hi Sheila, and yes Harray Potter is still up and running and doing very well. In fact one of the Harbourguides Crew will be visiting the studio in October, so we will give you an update after our visit.
Thanks

Great to see that Harray Potter is still up and running in Orkney. The last time we visited the Islands was 2021 and we brought a lot of Andrews pottery back to Sunderland. Planning another visit for 2024 and looking forward to meeting Andrew again Great character!

Harray Potter Orkney
Well, with a name like this we had to go and see what its all about, As it turns out Harray is the area and it is a pottery, hence the name Harray Potter. This is another gem of a place on these beautiful islands. The owner loves to have a chat and has a great knowledge of the islands that he was happy to share with us. If you are looking for a gift to take home or something for yourself to remind you of the visit, Harray Potter ticks all the boxes.
