Dating back to the 1780’s, De Wynns is now a traditional coffee shop which boasts views of the beautiful Falmouth harbour. The listed building sits in the centre of Falmouth where its quaint Bow windows look out onto the high street.
Originally a hotel stood on the site; it was a popular meeting place for packet ship Captains awaiting their orders. Today, it is a coffee house, producing an abundance of good quality food, freshly made with local produce. As well as a delicious selection of coffees and cakes, the option of a pot of Tregothnan tea, with home-made scones, Boddingtons jam and Roddas clotted cream on top, make a perfect cream tea.
The menu extends to sandwiches and salads, featuring locally caught crab and other local delectables!
A cup of de Wynns house coffee with a shot of something delicious (Tia Maria, Brandy, Whiskey etc) topped off with fresh cream, will perk you up day or night.
