Good shop for picking up general hardware. They stock stainless steel screws and fittings at a lot less cost than chandlers. Easy to find on Victoria Street, which is the main street on Alderney.

This hardware store is easy to find on Victoria Street (The main street in Alderney) on the left as you go up the street. Its actually bigger than you think when you get inside and has a good array of typical hardware merchandise. I always call in hardware shops before i visit a chandlers to see what they have, as its normally a lot cheaper, and Chrissies is no exception.

well we didnt find a chandlers on Alderney, but Chrissies is a really well stocked and priced DIY store. Lots cheaper than chandlers and with plenty of useful things for the boat. We nipped in a few times and always came out with something.
