Busta House Hotel
A real historic building that's full of character and charm. All rooms are different some have four poster beds, but they are all well equipped and very comfortable. If you are looking for a modern hotel that is part of a large group, Busta House Hotel is not for you. However if you are looking for a hotel full of character and history with very helpful and friendly staff, with a restaurant serves up delicious food, then this is the place for you. Also the location has very little light pollution and is an ideal spot for the Aurora Borealis. What more could you ask for?

What's not to love about this place? Location, quirkiness, individuality, cosy bedrooms, excellent restaurant & service, etc. etc. the list could go on, but the point I'm trying to make is the Busta House Hotel is the perfect place to stay in Shetland, especially if you want somewhere a little special and unique. Its location is perfect for viewing the Northern lights and exploring other parts of Shetland. We cant wait for our next visit. Thanks and we will see you soon!

Busta House Hotel
We had a fabulous meal here when we were staying in Brae. The whole experience was magical, we were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights! It was probably one of the best experiences we have had. We were staying at a different hotel near Brae, (I wont mention the name) which was ok, but if and when we come to Shetland again, we will bee booking the Busta House Hotel.

Had a great stay during a working trip to Shetland. The hotel and bar are very atmospheric and would make a fantastic film setting. The staff are extremely helpful without being intrusive. The food was of a high standard as was the service. The only downside is that we didn't get to see the Northern Lights! Ah well, maybe next time.

We loved our stay at Busta House Hotel. The staff were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. the rooms are all individual and have their own character, the one I stayed in had a four poster bed. The surroundings are very tranquil. The food is also very good and the bar has enough going on to make a nice atmosphere, without being roudy.
Its a hotel that I would definitely stay in again.

Great hotel, restaurant and bar. Nice and secluded with a short walk to a beach area. Also one of the best spots to see the Northern Lights.
