Hi I arranged with Boatmec to carry out some work on my Volvo Penta Kamd44P engines. David arrived and spent most of the day carrying out some repairs. Arranged a follow up visit to complete some othe repairs. Engineer stayed a couple of hours and sent me a bill for a full day,£600.Contacted them to query this and said they would get back to me.Couple of days later I noticed the Rocker cover was now leaking more oil than it had been before the work was carried out by Boatmec. Contacted Boatmec to arrange another visit to complete the work and never heard from them again. Despite a number of emails and phone calls to them, nothing! To this day 6 weeks later no contact!!!
God help us if we have to depend on an organisation like this to keep our boats in working order.
