Bustling, lively and right in the centre of town, it makes a great spot
to stop for Japanese food!
Sit down at the conveyor belt, order yourself a green tea and watch the
sushi go by. Pick up what you want, pile up the plates and enjoy. It’s
so easy.
And it’s not just about the sushi either. There’s plenty of hot food,
including their famous katsu curry, yakitori skewers, gyoza dumplings,
teriyaki pork, tempura and some incredibly moreish noodle dishes – all
prepared to order by the Bento chefs. Team it all with a chilled Asahi
beer, a shot of sake or a glass of wine, and you’ve got the perfect
combination.
You can also get Bento to go with their deli takeaway where you can
choose from individually wrapped sushi, salads, miso soup and hot noodle
pots to go. A new welcome addition to Bento is the introduction of their
online ordering system - Click and Collect. Choose from their entire
menu and order at the click of a mouse and they’ll give you call after
few minutes to let you know when the order will be ready for collection!

Please can you tell me if Bento has changed hands in the last year? If so is it still a Japanese restaurant? We used to go quite regularly when we were last in Jersey and we are coming back for a few weeks in June/July.
You can sit at the conveyor belt as long as you want( eating occasionally ) or be in and out in 5 minutes if in a hurry.
Sushi is delicious but remember to keep an eye on how many 'plates' you eat because you pay per plate and is not an all you can eat, it is very easy to get carried away.
brilliant. Not forgetting my favourite BEEF TATAKI (lightly seared 21-day aged beef in zesty ponzu sauce)
Finished up with with a dessert that I think consisted of rice roll with passion fruit, do not hold me to this but I think it was not in dessert sect.
Worth asking them.
All in all a very memorable experience and will be going back very soon.
