Beautiful secluded marina in Vale Guernsey. The pros are its definitely the most picturesque marina in the whole of the Channel Islands, its well sheltered, It has a fantastic restaurant and bar, its very quiet and secluded. The cons are that if you want to visit St Peter Port regularly, without a car can be a bit inconvenient, but there is a bus service. The other topic that is brought up is that the entrance looks daunting, but I can assure anyone with a moderate amount of seamanship that as long as you enter in the right conditions there isn't a problem. For those visiting without a boat, there is a camp site for campervans and some beautiful self catering "Shepherds Huts" that are for rent. Beaucette Marina is a lovely environment to be in.
A small well sheltered marina in a quiet part of the island. Very helpful staff and a great bar restaurant on site. The marina entrance can look a little daunting, but with the right conditions its pretty easy to navigate, and the marina staff will offer help and advice, but it really isnt a major issue. To sum up, its a great little haven thsts capable of taking large & small boats.
Lovely marina with a fantastic restaurant and Shepherd Huts accommodation. Its without doubt the most picturesque marina in the whole of the Channel Islands. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The entrance can look a bit daunting at first, but if you choose the right conditions and (Both weather and tidal) its quite easy, and well worth it.
Beautiful tranquil marina. A lot easier to navigate than rumours suggest. The marina staff are very helpful and will offer expert advice on entering.
May consider moving here, currently in Jersey but think there is a more pleasent environment over here.
