Yes Shaun. We found the same when contacting the Thai Marine Dept. directly they told us the same thing that they do not approve the STCW certificates issued by this school. Here is their response:

I would like to inform you that Barcelona Sea Academy, including its courses, is not getting any approval from Thai Marine Department.

Stay well away from this school! They are not authorised to issue certificates by the training authority and are doing so without permission and your certificates will not be recognised or valid. No communication back from anyone in the company. Don’t waste your money or valuable time.
