The hotel is ideally situated for an overnight stay before catching the ferry to Islay. An intimate 24-seat quay-side restaurant re-opened in February 2014 under new ownership, with original menus and a fresh new look. While featuring fresh local seafood such as Gigha Lobster, Islay Scallops and Loch Fyne Langoustines, The Anchorage nonetheless caters for a wide variety of tastes with dishes such as Venison, Pork Belly, Sea Bass, Halibut, Smoked Duck and Ham Hough Terrine, as well as vegetarian specialities like Goats' Cheese Pannacotta and Fig Tarte Tatin.
Open for lunch and dinner, fully licensed, bookings are recommended in season.
